Gold is the sweat of the sun

"Mitos" is the spanish word for "Myths"- an important notion with the South American Indians who spiritualized nature around them.  To them, gold was the sweat of the sun and silver the thears of the moon.

Miryam Stenderup, goldsmith and jewellery designer, finds inspiration to her often exotic pieces in nature, where the South American jungles and montains and the Danish flora contribute to the exciting contrast.

The jewellery is characterized by different structures and soft, organic forms in constant movement. The result is discreet elegance and classic Scandinavian minimalism.
